Ever Cups are arriving around the globe!
Gonna level with you: while it's truly exciting to hear some of the positive feedback that's been coming through, we also recognize that we made a major error of omission. A manual!
For everyone that's been confused or has opened the box to frustration rather than elation, I want to apologize up front. We have been so close to this project for so long that we didn't realize there were opportunities for confusion in how to take the lids off, open and close them, and protect the cups from breakage.
I also apologize to everyone whose cups arrived cracked! We took special care to package the cups securely and pad them well, but glass is glass... and while it might have been unavoidable, we hate the idea that a single one of you opened your box to find something broken inside. Send me a message or email [email protected] if there's something wrong with your cup. We'll fix it.
And now, the manual!
The lid fit on these cups is SNUG. Hook your fingers or thumbs under the lid tab to pry the lid off at an angle. Press down with even pressure to put it back on.
The lid is really tight in order to prevent leaks and sloshing. If it's tight, it's doing its job! But when fully inverted, it is possible for liquids to drip out of the drink hole. Don't do that.
The outer lid should spin around the inner lid to hide or reveal the drink hole. When the glass rim is wet, it's possible for the inner lid to spin around a bit. If that happens, just push down on the lid tab to hold the inner lid in place as you open/close.
The double lid design is clever, but comes with one major caveat: since it fits quite tightly on the glass, spinning the outer lid quickly and forcing it past the tab can cause unexpected breakage. Please take care to rotate the lids carefully and never, ever try to force rotate the outer lid over the tab.

Finally! Joy, oh joy. We're delighted to let you know that Ever Cups have been shipping out over the past week. If you haven't already seen tracking update emails in your inbox, you will soon. We're using a tracking service called Aftership to send step-by-step notifications so you don't miss a thing. Once again, we can't express enough gratitude for your patience and forbearance during the development process. These cups were a lot of fun to design, but the manufacturing process was a heck of a lot more painful than we've experienced with other projects. They say misery loves company, and well... we were so happy to have your company along the ride, as messy as it was.
Now, all that's left is to celebrate! We hope you love these cups as much as we do. They're beautiful, elegant, and handcrafted. It's been a pleasure to have you by our side.
